In this final clinical case, the preparation of provisionals is discussed, which allows the natural downward movement of the gum towards the crown, promoting the healing of the gingival scalloping and improving the patient's smile contour.
In this case, with periodontal compromise of the frontal group and the loss of central and lateral teeth, a complete preparation of the upper arch was carried out, followed by splitting, filling, and placement of a reinforced provisional.
After an adequate healing period, resective surgery is performed to optimize the tissues, and during healing, the natural reappearance of the papilla will be observed, confirming the effectiveness of the adopted protocol.
