Di cosa parla

This first part focuses on surgical decision-making for grafting procedures using the Triple Layer Protocol. Participants will learn how to select the appropriate combination of materials based on tissue availability to achieve predictable outcomes.

Dr. Chu explores the Triple Layer Graft Protocol and its application in sites with different tissue conditions. When bone is present, connective tissue grafts (CTG) are indicated; when only soft tissue is present, bone plus membrane is recommended; when both bone and soft tissue are absent, a combination of bone, membrane, and CTG is required.

Clinical examples illustrate how these strategies help restore both hard and soft tissue volume while supporting long-term aesthetic and functional results.

In particular, this lecture covers the following topics:

  • Triple Layer Graft Protocol and material selection
  • Use of CTG when bone is present
  • Bone + membrane strategy when soft tissue is present
  • Combined bone + membrane + CTG approach when both bone and soft tissue are absent
