According to Prof. Burak Çankaya, an assisting suture is a type of suture that doesn’t have the goal of closing wounds but that is performed by the clinician to help himself in different clinical situations and to enhance his working field. Proper materials and techniques will be presented by the lecturer with the help of 3D animations.
In particular, this lecture focuses on the following topics:
- Retraction sutures to get a better view of the working site
- Assisting suture to control the bleeding
- How to secure the clot with a proper suture
- A focus on decompression and securing sutures

It applies to video course orders from €400 (US$450, £350, CHF 400 or CAD 600), VAT excluded: if you are close, the cart tells you how much is missing.
