This video lesson focuses on the clinical restorative sequence, described by Dr. Powell as structured in 5 basic stages: pre-restorative assessment, impression, design, manufacturing and insertion.
Participants will gain a thorough understanding of which factors require more attention from the clinician, always bearing in mind that the ultimate goal is to place definitive restorations in the aesthetic area as well.
In particular, this lecture covers the following topics:
- How to understand when a provisional restoration is needed
- Pre-restorative assessment: confirmation of osseointegration
- Assess soft tissue and radiographic appearance of implants
- Provisional restoration fabrication stage
- How to identify the proper implant platform diameter and the correct abutment connection type

Dr. David Powell is devoted to continuing education. He was an assistant professor at the University of Toronto for 3 years, and he regularly gives lectures for dentists seeking to improve their skills in implant prosthodontics. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada and the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Powell works in Private Practice at Barrie Dental Specialists and Chrysalis. His practice focuses on prosthetically driven, digitally guided implant procedures, and complex full mouth rehabilitations.

It applies to video course orders from €400 (US$450, £350, CHF 400 or CAD 600), VAT excluded: if you are close, the cart tells you how much is missing.
