De qué trata
Dr. Fradeani illustrates a very complex clinical case treated with a MIPP 2 protocol. The treatment’s goal is to recreate an ideal overjet-overbite relationship by moving the upper jaw lower and forward. The case is managed with a multidisciplinary approach (orthodontic, orthognathic, implant and prosthetic) in ordert to get a perfect outcome both at aesthetic and functional level.
In particular, this lecture covers the following topics:
- The orthodontic treatment to create the necessary space that will receive the future implant
- The orthognathic treatment to facilitate the shifting of the upper jaw
- The orthodontic finishing treatment to improve the overjet-overbite relationship
- Implant placement and simultaneous clinical crown lengthening
- Selective grinding
- Prosthetic finalisation
