In this fourth module, Dr. Mangano illustrates how Mixed Reality is revolutionizing implantology through the use of see-through devices that overlay interactive holograms onto the patient's anatomy.
The lesson focuses on the vocal and gestural manipulation of virtual elements and the integration of Apps for automated segmentation and implant planning.
A preview of the Mixed Reality-based dynamic navigation system will be presented, a versatile solution for anterior and posterior post-extractive sites that enables guided surgery with limited investment.

Dentist, graduated with honors in 2003 and awarded a PhD in 2016, Francesco Mangano is among the leading international experts in digital dentistry. Associate Professor at Sechenov University, he serves as Editor of the Journal of Dentistry and is the author of over 140 scientific publications. Founder and President (2024–2025) of the Digital Dentistry Society, he practices in a highly digitalized clinic focused on digital prosthodontics.
