Direct & Indirect Treatment Strategies: Molding & Hybrid clinical protocols - Module 2

De qué trata
In case of more extensive tooth wear or in presence of severe bruxism, direct composites can reach their structural limits, and stronger materials must be taken into consideration, especially in the molar areas.
A wise treatment strategy sees a combination of direct and indirect restorations (selective treatment strategy) to exploit the benefits of different materials and techniques.
This philosophy of work, that seeks to adapt and individualize treatment according to the tooth wear level and biomechanical features of different zones, represents a true game-changer in tooth wear management.
