Trailer- Lifetime access
What it covers
Bucco-palatal positioning dictates the aesthetic quality and the possibility of achieving natural-looking restorations. Dr. Gracis addresses the influence of vestibular vs. palatal positioning on outcomes, explaining how minor errors may require surgical intervention or prosthetic compromises, including the strategic use of pink porcelain (pink flange).
In particular, this lesson focuses on:
- Effects of buccal or palatal positioning on the aesthetic outcome of the crown.
- Possible compromises: smaller implants, platform switching, and pink flanges.
- Strategies to minimize the need for additional surgical procedures.
- Soft tissue management and preservation of a natural emergence profile.
