Di cosa parla
In this lesson, Prof. Rutkunas explores different implant loading strategies, analyzing how functional and non-functional loading can influence soft tissue healing, esthetics, and overall treatment outcomes.
Emphasis is placed on selecting the appropriate loading protocol based on primary implant stability.
The lecturer also discusses fabrication timing highlighting the advantages of pre-surgical fabrication of customized healing abutments and provisional crowns for immediate loading cases.
Prof. Rutkunas demonstrates how digital impressions taken immediately after surgery can accelerate the production of temporary prostheses, minimizing patient discomfort.
In particular, this lesson focuses on:
- Decision-making between immediate and delayed loading protocols
- The role of primary stability and biologically driven implant positioning
- Timing and workflow for customized abutment and provisional fabrication
- Digital workflow for rapid temporary prosthesis delivery in full-arch cases
