Une récession parodontale est définie par la migration en direction apicale de la gingivale marginale au-delà de la jonction amélo-cémentaire (JAC). Entraînant l’exposition de la racine dentaire et la fonte du patrimoine gingival, cette condition peut compromettre à la fois l’esthétique et la fonction, rendant le traitement indispensable.
