In this second part of this module, Prof. Rutkunas explains how to acquire and integrate all the digital data necessary for restorative and implant planning.
The lecturer details the process of creating a precise digital patient by combining 2D and 3D facial images, intraoral scans of the dental arches, and CBCT data.
Special attention is given to the correct use of reference objects to ensure an accurate digital impression. The lecturer also demonstrates how CBCT and digital impressions are merged for guided implantology and how to incorporate facial scanning data for a fully aligned virtual workflow.

The instructor
Prof. Vygandas Rutkunas is President of the Lithuanian Society of Prosthodontics, founder of the dental clinic ProDentum, and team leader of the DIGITORR (Digital Oral Rehabilitation Center). He has delivered lectures and courses in many international meetings, including EPA and EAO, developed the Total Fit Workflows, and focuses his research activities on digital implant placement, digital prosthodontics, and bioengineering.
