This theoretical lesson focuses on the three categories in which orofacial pains are divided depending on the origin of the pain: dentoalveolar, musculoskeletal or neurological.
Prof. Daniele Manfredini discusses the signs and symptoms of TMD and shows several brief clinical cases to let participants appreciate his working philosophy.
The clinical cases focus on the relation between clicks and cracks, occlusion and the features of MRIs.
In particular, this lesson focuses on the following topics:
