The aim of this lecture is to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art, evidence-based knowledge regarding TMJ pathologies and disorders with an emphasis on epidemiology, diagnosis and management. You will understand that TMJ pain can severely affect a person’s everyday life, i.e. social interactions and physical activities. From primary and secondary TMJ pains and local and systemic TMJ arthritis to internal derangement and less common conditions as TMJ neoplasms, luxations and congenital disorders: all these topics are covered in detail in this video lecture.
