What it covers
The vertical dimension of the occlusion is one of the fundamental parameters in order to plan the treatment that, if correctly managed, allows to reduce the invasiveness of the prosthetic operation, thus providing several benefits for the clinician. It will be seen that there are no contraindications to increasing VDO as patients have a great capacity for muscular and phonetic readjustment in a very short time after the treatment.
