What it covers
The criteria at the basis of the different restorative strategy are:
- nature of the defect (erosion, abrasion and attrition or a combination of these risk factors)
- severity
- patient’s age
- compliance
- socio-economic conditions
The 3 basic strategies are “preventive”, “interceptive” and “restorative”.
While preventive measures are part of any tooth wear treatment strategy, the main difference between interceptive and restorative approaches is the extension of lesions to be treated and restorations to be performed.
Interceptive strategy is first to be installed for limited and moderate tissue loss, using a no-prep approach and direct composite application (through either free-hand or molding techniques). More severe cases require an indirect/CAD-CAM approach, and mandatory tooth preparation, making it significantly more invasive, technically challenging and expensive.

You get a single invoice for the full amount and follow the installments from Account → Your purchases. It applies to video course orders from €400 (US$450, £350, CHF 400 or CAD 600), VAT excluded: if you are close, the cart tells you how much is missing.
