What it covers
The first instrumental step is the build-up and layering of dentin and enamel shades control, a set of procedures largely simplified by the adoption of a bi-laminar approach (Natural Layering Concept), while an index may be needed in case of large corrections or restorations.
Finishing and polishing procedures represent the next crucial step, performed in 4 steps and following 3D visual control.
This lecture shows a simple method that allows to obtain the desired level of gloss of tooth-coloured restorative materials without losing the details of the restoration surface micro-anatomy.
