Why should a dentist want to obtain a 3D reconstruction of the patient’s anatomical structure?
In this video lesson, Dr. Federico Guerri explains that the 3D model is fundamental in those clinical cases in which the wisdom tooth has a complex anatomy and an intimate contact with the nerve.
By creating the 3D model, the surgeon has the possibility to identify the risks of the surgery, i.e. the risk of nerve damage.
